The house boasts a charming private courtyard, perfect for an intimate dinner, as well as a stunning sea-view terrace that surrounds the entire property. Here you can enjoy an aperitif while admiring, on one side, the sea and the tourist port of Riposto with its sailboats and yachts, and on the other, the majesty of Mount Etna—often snow-capped well into late spring, when the beaches along the coast are already inviting.

Ideally located for exploring eastern Sicily, Stranizza D’Amuri is the perfect base for visiting Taormina (just a 20-minute drive away), experiencing excursions on Mount Etna, discovering the authentic flavors of the region through food and wine experiences at the foot of the volcano, and being enchanted by historical, natural, and seaside attractions.

Here you will experience the most authentic Sicily, made of fish markets, living traditions, and a genuinely relaxed pace of life, all within easy reach of Catania and its international airport, which is well connected to numerous Italian, European, and intercontinental destinations.

The house is located in the Scariceddu neighborhood, also known as the birthplace of Franco Battiato: a corner of Sicily where time slows down, the beauty of simple things meets spaces for quiet and reflection, and the charm of a place still untouched by mass tourism blends with the convenience of having everything close at hand.

The name of the house is inspired by “Stranizza d’Amuri,” Battiato’s famous song: a tribute to the spontaneity of an unexpected love that blossoms in a vibrant, authentic setting rich in emotion.
